You know who this is. This message is direct to your Iphone, and will be deleted after reading. From what I've seen, you've achieved to integrate your person into the investigation quite nicely. Just be careful about being discovered. If anyone knows you're working for us, you will most likely not survive.

You asked why Yousef had to go. He discovered the truth about Pope Pius XII and he was going to broadcast it on Al Jazeera. Considering that more people believe Al Jazeera than the Vatican newsletter, he had to be stopped.

You know that the academic was killed for much the same reason. Gerrity had to die. The major problem was that we sent Clemente to kill him—that's the body that fell on the Jetta. Using an outside contract was unreliable and foolish, but aside from the occasional meetings, there is nothing to connect him to us. What he had spotted something in Gerrity's room is a mystery, but it that showed him what his employers were really like. The bomb was truly an inspired move.

Unfortunately, the body fell onto the wrong car, and has attracted undue attention—more attention than it may have garnered had the explosive not been overcharged and blew the body out the window.

Try to obstruct them when you can. We have to keep the evidence of Pius' actions during the war a secret known only to the Church. If evidence goes to someone who isn't wearing either a Roman collar or a tinfoil hat, everything we have worked towards for decades will come crashing down.
